no classes! so met the alpha-birds (LOL) at Far east for lunch and went walking around. bough a skirt. AGAIN. *rolls eyes* anyway, it was a simple day. just spending tim =e with my friends whom i haven't seen for the past few weeks. haha i'm so addicted to the IQ game eileen got me. haha thanks girl!! its so, me. ahahah.

Interesting day

What an interesting first day of school!!! (LONGGG entry)

Although it started off boring, it later improved, a LOT!!

First lecture was super boring! Talking about the history of infants and i dunno already. Cause i never did listen. i was sitting on the floor, dreaming away. bad geri.

Lunch finally came!! i was so relieved!! i was looking forward to eat, super famished!!

We all decided to go to SIM. :) eileen couldn't join us as she had to go meet her friend. so we trotted off to SIM without her. (sounds like a horse) tried their carborana! yummy, cheap and good!! two thumbs up! then eileen arrived,(after all of us ate finish..)with a CAKE!! so her friend turned out to be the b'day cake after all.. Thanks girl for going all the way back to clementi interchange to get it. appreciate alot! :) anyway, since we were in a restaurant, they had the" No outside food and drinks" sign. Eileen & sarah went to ask if it was ok to celebrate the birthdays there. (btw, its jas, beeling and mine's belated b'day celebration) the manager said it was fine to celebrate but we weren't allowed to eat the cake there. huh? what's the point then right? so they tried negotiating with him. in the end, we were allowed to! turns out they were afraid of us using their utensils, cos of all the halal stuff. ah. so we used napkins and tissues specially provided by the manager. So we cut the cake, blew the candles, and the manger so nicel gave us a jug of iced peace tea, on the house!! how cool is that?! ahah. Then we gave the two managers a slice of cake each.. we played the number game to decide who eats the last remaining slice.. then this guy came up to our table and asked who's birthday it was. Eileen pointed to 3 of us. then the guy left this card on the table, giving us some birthday message. haha how thoughtful. :)

Went back to our last lecture of the day. then Hazel was tagging along again. Then when it was time to decide on a group to work with, she asked if she could join ours. We were hesistant cos i've worked with her previously and it was a horrible experience! Late for meetings, never do work.. never contribute..- some others were reluctant too, as seriously, she needs to work on her attitude, be it towards projects or others. but who am i to judge right. argh! however, Sarah was so kind and asked us to give her another try, since we could tolerate Chihiro, we could also do it again with Hazel. i also felt God telling me to do the right thing. so yeah, in the end, we agreed to work with her. I'm not saying it will be easy, but i believe God will bring us through. Its so great to have a bunch of believers as great friends and project mates! :) haha i must learn from Athel and Sarah. Such good hearts.. (J.C too)

Rushed out of lecture to go to Jean Yip. reached there abt 6, waited for Sally's friends to come. The promo requires all 3 to pay first. So i waited for ages b4 someone came to cut my hair. The other two were already having their hair coloured! anyway, sal bev n jo were almost finishing. haha. so yeps. told the guy to cut me my bangs! ( i bang!) Then chose my colour, recommended by the stylist. mahogany-plus some red. So yeps. all the stuff.. i had two guy stylists and they were funny! i kept laughing.. and one kept laughing at me. :p he had this cool hair. like only hair in the centre all spiked up. really spiked up. anyway, the 3 girls left for V8 @ bugis-WITHOUT ME!!! haha so i was left alone there.. til like 9 +? the colour is like DARK. not too obvious. but can see.. hope it lasts cos the guy said the colour i "selected" wouldn't last long. *fingers crossed*

Went to meet the three humans at bugis platform. Sal n jo decided to wait for me at Bedok Interchage's market. thanks guys. but!! when we reached tehr, it was total darkness! i think the power went out. (duh) so i suggested going to Mac's. blah. They weren't selling food due to the blackout. I couldn't call anyone too! i was like oh no!!!!! my dinner!! gas uses electricity, and i have no hot water! can't cook! not even maggi! all my worry for nothing. Turns out that my area was all fine. haha so i had a good dinner. :)

No school tmr. YAY!! and i cant go to Vic's hse on mon, despite not having morning classes. my mother says NO. :/

I still feel so blessed.

Sending Jody off

Jee and me decided to make shephard's pie today! Met her at 12 at Tampines to go get groceries.. then walked back to her place. haha, by then i was starving already! so we started off to work. I peeled the potatoes while she marinated the beef. haha. then we boiled the potatoes and mashed them. fried the beef, and placed the potatoes above it and topped it off with mozerella cheese. yummy... :)

slept a while. was so tired! then woke up and did some photo editing before getting changed and sent Jody off to the airport. haha a lot of Y.C pple came to see him off.. plus all our relatives. one BIG group. haha pple thought all of us were part of the tour group or something.. :)

sch officially starts tomorrow. sigh. oh well, in a way, sch is good as we can learn more things, and i'll be making better use of my time. if only my modules were more interesting!! and i hope i'll still be with the A-group. all my buddies are in there! i can't imagine not working with them. Then again, in real life, u can't always work with pple u get along with. but still!! bleahz.. fingers crossed!

haha going to colour m hair after sch too! at least there is something good to look foward too. tee hee. still undecided about the colour. most probably something less obvious? more to the natural brown side. i dun wanna spend money touching up when my black hair grows out.. gonna get a hair cut too.i want my bangs. :)

Saturday_

Went to church in the morning for dance prac.. got my baby blue polo tee!! anyway, stayed til 640 before i had to leave to meet my mother.

dinner was supposed to start at 7pm. however, it was only at 745 that people started to arrive!! talk about early.. and there were so much delays!! i was starting to get irritated. my aunt's sister in-law's mahjong kah kees came along as well. i'll call them the aunties. so the aunties took such a long time to decided where to sit!! its like, there are only two tables!! sheesh. if i had known that dinner would only start an hour later, i would have stayed for the rest of the service man. thankfully the yummilicious improved my mood.

Then!!! This aunty came over.. and was asking my mum-wah! your daughter arh?? eh, primary 6 ah?? (dots!!) i was like, "..." no comments. and jee and my mum were laughing away.. of course my mum corrected her. haha the aunty was like, "oh!! i'm so sorry..." oh well, in a way, its good to look young right? hah, i'll prob appreciate it like maybe 20 years down the road. :)

Then after the filling beyond filling dinner, some of them decided to go for a karaoke session. So jee, andrea and me decided to go too. We sang til 230am!! The room was super big and freezing cold! haha. tried singing some of the newer chinese songs.. and skipped so many words cos i don't know how to read them. LOL. but it was fun!!

Sunday:

dragged myself out of bed. was still tired!! but was soon more awake! Church was good. there was this part where we all held candles. the overall effect was great, of course not forgetting the purpose of the activity. Then we did the ZGMights cheer! ahaha doing it for the second time and had trouble memorising some parts. was looking at Joy the whole time!! :p

then headed over to people's bible church after lunch for full-dress. haha had a bit of problems regarding the transitions, but it got settled after a while...

Hm, spending tmr with my mum and Jee.. then prob meeting the others at the airport to send Jody off..

Plain old fun

Today was such a funny and enjoyable day!!

Met bev and we headed to Far East to do some shopping! We found really nice skirts and was deciding if we should buy them. In the end, we asked the lady to reserve the skirt for us first. Then we decided to go get cheese fries! yummY! i so must eat when i go out. haha. Then the usual walking around. Tired this really nice skirt, but it was going for 49 buckaroos!! bummer. Then we got bored. So we headed down to Heeren. on the way, we decided to try our "luck" at some pick a key and win game. like, u know. choose a key n see if it opens a box to a proze. main prize being an MP3 player. bev n i did'nt winanything. Jus some slimming voucher. Do i need to slim down?!?!!?! hahah. bought some ice-cream tt i had such a hard time eating.. ANYWAY. we arrived at Heeren. blah. it was worse! nothing good to offer. Then i had my brilliant idea! Go to Marche!!

haha bev agreed. I think you are the only one who'll eat non-stop with me.. haha. We had a mushroom soup each, and shared a plain old Rosti with sour cream. Man!! it was super filling i tell ya!! we ate and there was some more left.. so in the end we decided to play-Hei Bai Chui- again! loser eat the remaining portion, which was now divided into three smaller portions. man!! i lost the first two rounds! Bev was gleefully laughing away.. at me. rather, with me. haha but i finally won at the third. man, we were mad! we kept laughing the whole time! especially while the game was in progress. k i don't know why, but i found that super hilarious. fine, i'm easily humoured. :)

YAY! we decided to get the skirt after all! so we walked BACK to far east. Then!!! (this gets more hilarious)
This guy approached us. he was like. "Do u speak english??" (k i found tt a stupid question) i mean, what do we look like?! Aliens who speak some weird language?! do we even look foreign?! - anyway, he was telling and showing us some newspaper article featuring him, and shamlessly bragging about his eye-brow shaping skills. " Im the BEST!!! I'm very famous...." and more.. then we wanted us to be his customers. All this while i was trying to control my laughter.. then he went, "Ni men hen CUTE leh!!!" [sniggers] then he continued:" Zhen de! Wo shi zhen xin chen yi yao bang ni men" "zhen de! hen CUTE leh!" oh SPAREme please!!! what do we look like? suckers for these kind of "compliments?". we kept laughing the whole time. haha we shd have said, " wo men zhi dao wo men hen cute LAH.. (jus to get him to stop)" HAHAH!! Then he was saying my eye brows were messy. Like I don't care, why do YOU care?!! Then he said it would cost 10 bucks. and tt we would pay him after the eye brow shaping. and if we don't like it, we can don't pay. but still, i didn't like him. so we turned him down FLAT. ugh. if u r so popular, y do u need to do advertising yourself and practically beg for customers?? and i can't even see the newpapers clearly! it was all blurred and he flashed it across my face for a BRIEF moment only. who knows, it might even be fake.

so we continued on our journey..We saw a bunch of pple outside Hyatt Hotel. So bev went to ask.. turns out that they were waiting for Jerry and Vic from F4. so we went to collect our skirts.. and decided to come out to ask what time were the stars coming. More were coming, as there is the charity concert.. we decided to wait. and we waited for an hour!!! And THEN we saw......

we saw jiang mei qi, ah-sth and brandy and qiu ze. and thats about it. blaH! hahaha, they were coming out of the hotel.. so we just wanted to see them. I don't like F4 at all. however, i think we were too free.. and i think F4 would come ut last cos their item is the last for the concert.

haha. the security guards were funny! two black guys came out of the hotel.. they were like, "black eyed peas". kk i found that funny again. and we also saw some gollum look-alike guy. hahAHAH. y do we keep seeing gollum look-alikes??

the whole time i kept asking bev to eat creamy chicken with me. *craving*!!!!!

Dum dee dum dum

sigh! i miss playing pool! was watching the sports channle just now on some 9 ball game. woah the players are awesome! haha i wanna go play pool soon!!

Dance was great, as usual. We tried all the skipping part. haha giddy!! and i'm spending my time more wisely.. like doing all this for God and stuff. More purpose. rather than wasting away at home. :)

Going out with bev tmr to do some last minute shopping! working and spending your hard-earned money is great!! it's like giving yourself a special treat. Then again, I have been giving myself loads of treats. *winks*

my mother was telling that there have been two accidents at "wild wild wet" and cautioned me yet again not to go so soon. One incident was someone being cut by fibreglass. another being a girl fractured her arm. Hmm.. however, i think it's quite costly to go there.. with all the entrance fee. michelle even said that we had to pay to rent some tube thing..

nvm. i shall go to jurong swimming complex. or chris house. haha! its free! is jurong swimming complex free?? think not. hahaha

i seriously think i have bad navigation skills.

haha. so the day started pretty fine.. had a decent lunch at the market instead of cooking maggi,left for dance after it.

Dance was fun!! As usual. :) today we learned our transitions and stuff.. yay!! we r making excellent progress!!shall go practice later :)

Then i left abt at 630 for my ex MJC class bbq cum chalet.. took a really LONG time to get there. The bus and train ride to tampines was ok. Then i went around searching for Bengawan Solo to get a cake for the birtheday people, but more for Diana. I went to "Angie's the choice" first to check the price, but realized that the cakes were really expensive! and i didn't have enough cash with me to pay for it. I had enough for the much smaller ones though. so i decided to skip it. And so i was walking round and round, looking for the place. sheesh, i frequent TM often and i still can't find it. After much searching, i finally found it! was debating between myself which flavour to get. chocolate? coffee? mango? black forest? guava? haha finally settled on the chocolate, since i thought more people would like it. haha i hope they did! i enjoyed the cake! yummilicious!

went to take 29 that would get me to Changi Village. waited ages for it to come! then mr chen told me to get down after some ulu road, after the first right turn. guess what miss clever did. she alighted at the wrong bus-stop!! frantically called laureen, who passed the phone to mr chen, and he told me i was still a long way off.. AHH!! and that i had to take the next 29 again... i was like, " OKAY!!! TT"S IT! I"M GOING HOME!!!" then decided against it. i mean, i DO have the cake, and i DID promise to turn up. haha. and i was so hungry by then! i was eyeing the cake the whole time!! wanted to attack it. haha but i have will power. heh heh. my trusty char siew rice lasted me til then okays..

Then i saw "Toh Cl" i thought it was pronounced as "toh ci". then realized the "l" was a lower case "L" instead of a letter "I". So its read as "toh close". (Cl being the short form)-guess what?! "Toh close" sounded super familiar.. turns out its Eileen's place!! i gave her a call to whine and to ask for help.. and she came out to meet me at the bus-stop! haha so nice of her!! Thank u girl! so she came out, and we chatted and gave me directions before 29 came along. i was like, "tts fast!!!" haha, so we bid farewell. Great seeing her, despite the meeting being short. haha.

So i took 29 again. turns out tt i alighted at the wrong stretch of "ulu" road. *rolls eyes* go figure. anyway, i wanted to alight at the bus-stop Eileen told me to.. but i realized that i could be wrong yet again so i called laureen. haha.. sigh. yepps. then mr chen told me to alight at the last stop and he would pick me there. And i misunderstood! i though he meant he was going to leave then and meet me there. And so i reached there, and waited.. and waited some more. i was thinking, "OH NO!! he's not here! don't tell me i'm at the wrong place?!?!" after 10 minutes, Laureen called again. she asked if i was there yet. turns out that i was supposed to call once i reached so tt mr chen could come pick me. No wonder i waited in vain! cos silly me! i didn't call! man, i don't want to think what would happen if laureen didn't call. haha ok, from then onwards, i didn't make any stupid mistakes.. :)

Mr chen came and drove me to the place. its really deep in, and i doubt i'll ever reach there if it wasn't for his van! which btw is a real nice blue! :) reached at NINE. haha saw all my classmates/friends again! so great seeing them!! haha miss you pple! missed me?? hahaha. okok.. ate satay.. n drank some vodka. haha, the girls were sharing one bottle.. ooH! then we had the cake!! yay! happy birthday Diana!!! u r officially 18!!

yep.. then we hung around, did some talking.. :) and then it was time to leave. The girls weren't staying over, so i went hm with shibin n yina.. with much thanks to shibin's parents giving me or rather, us a lift home. haha and her parents were really funny! i kept laughing in the car.. :)

sigh, what an absoulutely boring day.. which makes this another boring entry..

spent the day in front of the television and the computer. wow. what an accomplishment huh? i tried painting my design on my tee, but the paint refuses to show up!! so i guess its the wrong type of fabric paint. blah!

The hols are ending! i kinda dread school. haha, with my KILLER time-table, who doesn't?! sheesh, i end at 5 almost every single day! and i end at 6 on thurs, with my gruelling schedule starting from 9 onwards..
And out of the 9 modules i take, only 3 are like the interesting ones. The rest are SUPER dry subjects.. haha. i must find a way too entertain myself.. *dum dee dum dum*

going for dance tmr in the afternoon, wonder what am i going to do with my free-free time in the morning.

It was great! and i really enjoyed myself. :)

haha forgot to bring my trusty old phone again!! anyways, we went to get the tickets at Plaza Singapura before heading to "Thai express" for lunch. We had olive rice which was not bad, 'cept the meat was a little tough.

Then went up to watch the moive. Man, i tell you, the escalators at PS are horrible! They are not consistent! the ones going up are here and there and vice versa! what sorta management do they have anyway?! And we kept going to the wrong escalators the whole time! Even at TaKa! sheesh.

The Movie was hilarious! its funny but many stuffs are all typically "Hollywood" drama. its quite exagerated. haha do i care?! NO. :)

Then basically we just walked around.. and chatted and chatted somemore. we were talking about dreams and the supernatural and stuffs. :) haha and i did a lot of laughing... Got Sophia her b'day pressie!

All in all, i enjoyed myself today!! :)
