Pack pack packing...

[add] ahhh!! *jumps* i just discovered something!! I don't have to go school on the 6th Dec!! cause..Firstly, attachment will only start the following week(i think) and i have my basic theory from 1730 onwards! Best thing is, it is excusable!! As in, i can use that i have a test as my reason for not attending lessons!! this is just PERFECT!!!! haha[/add]

- BEVERLEYOONGJIAJING!!!! u are sooo dead!! how DARE u leave without saying goodbye to me?!?!?!?! and btw, ONE hour is a pretty long time to bath..hahaha! But anyhows, i don't want sand thank you. NO tissues also, thank u very much. Just StarBursts! haha!!
-------
I finally FINALLY packed my room today!!!! At long last!!! There was soooo many things to clear!!!! And it got kind of dusty after a while.. with the occasional sneezes and eye irritation. But my room looks better. Though i'm not 100% done with it yet. haha shall do it during the next holiday!

So while i packed, came across my old kindergarten photos. How "toot" i looked, with the ugly boyish short hair. i think my hair has remained a major disaster even since young!! haha the photos tell it all. Was looking at all the old photographs we took back in secondary school.. we were like mad.. taking so many at one time.. i have spent soo much $$ just on developing photos!! All of them waiting to be arranged nicely in my albums. Which i will do, also during the NEXT holiday. haha.

Then i came across the letterboxes. Took out and read a few.. kept laughing over the things we wrote about in primary school.. then in secondary school, on the teachers, the homework and crushes.. which reminds me, there are some pple that i have totally lost contact with.. wonder how are they doing now.......

Just another ordinary day...

Not.

Wasn't feeling in the best of moods. sighhh I should actually stop thinking so much.

Tried signing in to blogger-for some reason the computer didn't auto sign me in. And after not typing my username and password for so long, naturally(ok, maybe not so natural after all) i typed in the wrong password and the wrong username.(actually, i think this kind of things only happens to me,ha!) So i was busy trying to figure out the write combination..
---of course i figured it out in the end if not u wouldn't see this entry~and i can predit myself "screaming" on my tagboard.

Headed to cousin's place in the afternoon.. haha jody was preparing lasagna! yummilicious!! But waited ages for it to be ready!! i was soo famished!! occupied myself with the piano while jee so kindly burned the cd for me. Finally got it done for my mother!! Well, the long wait was worth it! The lasagna was delicious!! And very filling.. Rotted in jee's room before leaving to meet my mother.

Then i alighted from the bus too early and had to walk the longer way. (see what i mean when these kind of things only happens to me??) And it was raining! So NOT my day today...sheesh. Walked around with her at Cityhall before going to KY to meet Joanne.. and down to "Kopitiam" to meet Jasmine. Had a quick dinner, did a little catching up. Haha dear jas was so kind to lend me her sleeping bag. Though its thin, its small. So i'm happie =) (at last smile huh)

Dinner ended wayyy early. So my mother asked me to meet her instead.. (she was having dinner with yekling and lisa) So anyway, yekling suggested taking a cab home.

BIG MISTAKE.

Taxi's always make themselves sought after when one is pressed for time. (how true)

well this time round we weren't exactly "pressed for time", but we did wait VERY LONG for one to arrive. There were SO MANY taxis "on call". And those that came in to alight passengers, didn't want to take any more!! (and they complain about not having any business. sheesh) i think we waited for almost 30-40 mins(at a taxi stand btw) and we were like second in queue!!! how absurd! Then since so many pple were calling in, we were debating between ourselves if we should also call in. To cut a long story short, we didn't call and our taxi arrived (about time!!) and we are safely home.

okkkayyy finneeee.. today was not totally a bad day. I think its just up to me to make the best out of it. I should just stop complaining so much and just appreciate what i have.

yup.

P.S. ~2 Bev: Have a safe & enjoyable trip!!! haha get me some "STARBURSTS" arh!!! See you in a lot of days time.

[edit]

i just checked NPal and got my tima-tabla!!! omigosh!!! Its quite horribleee!!! Apart from tues where i only have a three hour lecture, i end rather late for the rest of the days!! That is not too bad, i can deal with it since the three semesters previously are rather similiar. BUT!!! They HAD to put another three hour lecture after FP!!!! And we have this HUGE three hour block of free time inbetween and another three hour lecture after it. So we end at 6.

*gasp*Are they insane? Are they out of their minds?! what were they thinking?!?! are they MAD!??!?!?! after FP!?!?! *grumbles*( okay a wee bit over dramatic here) Like FP on a day itself isn't bad enough to kill, they had to do this. sheesh... how i hate FP still...to think i still have another two long semesters of it to go.. *inhales & exhales deeply* i am so NOT looking forward to FP. i can already see myself getting stressed over it. blah.... (okay i will stop my complaining)

NVM!!! i can do it!!!!! yeeeeessssssss!

well well well, school seems so near yet so farrr away.... if only i can freeze time. haha yeah right. Fantasizing right now...*rolls eyes* so anyway, school is not that bad(lar). Apart from FP, its quite fun! haha. There's I.T!!!! =) Speech!!=) and learning on the exceptional child!! yay. (thats was not sacarsm btw..) hur hur hur... =) -ok. NOW i sound contradicting...

signing off! I'm supposed to be banned from the comp after 12 (how sad =/) but yeah since i am the only human awake in the entire house(mum's sleeping)..teehee.

so blur

I am so blur!!!

Hopped onto the bus and majestically tapped my wallet against the Ez-link machine.. and there was no beep. Then it dawned on me that i took it out yesterday!! I had to dig for change as i didn't want to walk down the bus and back into my house. How can I forget my ez-link card?! well, actually i always forget to put it back into my wallet whenever i remove it. I shall keep that in mind the next time i want to remove it..

If that wasn't enough, i missed my stop my THREE bus-stops!! (sounds familiar??) Took me such a long time to realize it too! So having way little change with me, i decided to walk to bev's house all the way from Sims Avenue to kembangan. how fantastic. Well it wasn't THAT far, and ir was good exercise..

Couldn't wait to hit the pool! The weather was so warm, perfect for tanning. But that girl hasn't eaten her lunch yet.. so we just chilled in front of the tele until when i couldn't take it any longer.. we went to change.. then some guy was cleaning the pool..fine no problem. We happily plonked ourselves on those long chairs and tanned away..

we had the whole pool to ourselves and we were talking and laughing so loudly..(no surprise there) really great weather!! Though the sun decided to hide after a while, still had fun! i seriously think i am easily amused. Whatever she said, i found it so hilarious and couldnt control my laughter at all... (yeah so slap me) haha- i am not only blur, i am also "xiao".

yeah swimming never fails to make one hungry..and that bev was so busy with her chores that i happily helped myself to the food around her house. haaa her house is already like my second home =)

Spent time infront of her computer, trying to solve our "game" together.. though the sound effects were kinda "scary"..*shudders* it was interesting.. then we went to find the cheats since we were seiously stuck.(lols) Found even more similiar games and so we were glued to the monitor all the way till 8+.. aunty linda bought me dinner!!! So decided to stay to eat afterall, and decided to stay even longer after watching the television. Gosh, the ending for "the champions" was really pathetic. We waited for so long and the ending was seriously not satisfying. To think that people can actually spend 90 cents on sms-ing their favourite ending..haha. ben, bev & me were like: -_____-

Jo & Sal arrived much later.. almost reaching ten? So chatted around for a while before leaving with them. The trio took a cab to CB while i barely got enough change to get me on a bus-ride back to bedok..haha.

Memories...

Was reading entries from my(our)really old msn-group. Actually i was reading all the entries..(yes i am THAT bored & still wide awake-at this inhuman hour)

The msn group really does brings back memories.. so much has changed in the course of one year. (2003-2004~Time really does fly doesn't it?) Our lives, [thats for sure! in both good ways and bad-For the better? i like to think so.] our mentalities, our looks(lolz), our perceptions on different issues... read what we used to moan and groan abt..and i can't help but laugh at the things we complain on. It seems nothing compared to now.. in a way i guess i can say our thinking is more matured. ( i think) haha.. yeah people do change, then we can also see how vulnerable the human race can actually be. However, i think through it all, we have all(both) grown into better people. (Thankfully!)

Much later....(03.20)

Time for: Random Thoughts-Round One.

on a lighter note, chatting with bev now. Haha are we the only insane beings at this hour chatting?

apparently not. just checked the contact list. only beings chatting at this hour? no. insane? yes. haha..pure entertainment.

---Agree with the girl. Westlife totally do not suit jazz. In my opinion that is.

And i was supposed to be alseep an hour and 20 minutes ago !! arghhhH...

I'm Back!!!

Gosh, how i miss Singapore!! After being gone for 12 days.. home is still the best place to be!!

So yeah, i'm going to write about the whole thing, i'll try to anyway. so if u are bored or if u r interested, read on..

I've learnt many things.. one of them being: Going on tours is a 100% guarantee sure way to gain weight! i mean, you eat and eat and eat then hop onto the tourbus, sit on the same spot for a couple of hours without doing anything (maybe sleep some of time, well for me its like most of the times-haha!).. yepp!! just think about it.

Well anyway, had a great time there with my mother, her ex colleague Yekling, and her two nieces Sheryl & Shauna. haha we had a blast!!! =) Though the journey there was REALLY long.. we flew to Bangkok first, then to Helsinski and finally to Switzerland.. and then we ran into immigration problems. Apparently they thought we were from Mainland China.. DO WE LOOK LIKE CHINA PEOPLE?! yeah so we got held up quite a bit there.. but nevertheless, we still had a wonderful time. The scenery was breathtaking! Totally spectacular!!

Then at the hotel, some guy nearly took YekLing's bag! Thankfully she was holding onto it tightly!!

Then we went to the Pilatus(sat a train all the way up!)-Up to the mountains!

It was really cold!!! Then the next day, we were supposed to go for an optional tour to see another mountain. Halfway up, it started to snow!! And it gradually got heavier..and we got stranded. The bus couldn't go up any further due to the slippery roads caused by the ice.. and we couldn't make an U-turns as well! The tourguide called for help but despite the police's efforts, they were unable to do anything. We were stuck there for quite some time and eveyone's bladders were like so full. Then they all had some mass toilet session at some "deserted" corner. So anyway, we finally got out when our driver made a 6-point turn.. which was actually very risky. One mistake and the whole bus whole fall OFF the mountains.. imagine, dying in the Swiss Alps. But everyone was more excited than afraid due to them seeing snow. It was FREEZING cold!! I only went out for a few minutes before retreating back to the comforting warm bus. hehe. If that wasn't bad enough, after making the turn, we got stopped by a barricade along the way down. And we had to wait again for another guy in charge to raise it before we could pass through.

France was beautiful!! If only the people weren't so snobbish.. went to some places which i can't remember now.. haha. Let the pictures tell the story..

This is Charlie Chaplin's statue.. When i first saw it, i was like,"So SHORT!!" Until i stood NEXT to him. FINE... haha (Bev! stop laughing)

Then at night, we went to watch...

The tickets were so expensive!! And when we got there, we saw many China & Korean men.. quite puzzling, that they know how to appreciate such musicals. It was not until when we saw the posters displayed outside that it dawned on us that parts of the show was going to feature women topless. So THAT'S why! haha and to think we thought they were so "culturally enriched". So yeah, since we already paid for the tickets, we went in and the atmosphere was lovely! Red lamps all around and they served champange! haha i took Pepsi. The show was nice.. the dances and costumes were great!!! yepps!

Went to London as well. OH MAN!!! i LURVE LondoN!!! It was more relaxed over here.. not so much of tours, more free and easy..

okie i'm gettingquite tired blogging already. So to sum it up!!!
Out tour leader Sam and our driver.. (ok i dunno how to spell his name)

And our tour group!! Most of them were nice and friendly.. MOST of them. lolz!

of course there were MANY more pics.. but i only chose the more nicer ones.Tee Hee!

Living & Dying

"If you haven't found something worth dying for, you haven't found something worth living for."
(got that from kelly's nick)

how true, to a certain extent.

Read "Tuesdays with Morrie". [its such a nice and touching book, worth your time] Anyway, quoting what the professor said-
"Once you learn how to die, you learn how to live."
[Now that is interesting as well..]

ok it seems like i am just saying something for the sake of saying something. Which can only mean one thing:

I am bored.

Just P.U.S.H

Got this from an E-mail..

JUST PUSH

A man was sleeping at night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with light and the Savior appeared. The Lord told the man he had work for him to do, and showed him a large rock in front of his cabin. The Lord explained that the man was to push against the rock with all his might. This the man did, day after day. For many years he toiled from sun up to sun down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, pushing with all his might.

Each night the man returned to his cabin sore, and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain. Seeing that the man was showing signs of discouragement, the Adversary decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into the man's weary mind: "You have been pushing against that rock for a long time, and it hasn't budged. Why kill yourself over this? You are never going to move it." Thus giving the man the impression that the task was impossible and that he was a failure, these thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man.

"Why kill myself over this?" he thought. "I'll just put in my time, giving just the minimum effort and that will be good enough." And that is what he planned to do until one day he decided to make it a matter of prayer and take his troubled thoughts to the Lord. "Lord" he said, "I have labored long and hard in your service, putting all my strength to do that which you have asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even budged that rock by half a millimeter. What is wrong? Why am I failing?"

The Lord responded compassionately, "My child, when I asked you to serve me and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all your strength, which you have done. Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was to push. And now you come to me, with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed. But, is that really so? Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscled, your back sinew and brown, your hands are callused from constant pressure, and your legs have become massive and hard. Through opposition you have grown much and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have. Yet you haven't moved the rock. But your calling was to be obedient and to push and to exercise your faith and trust in My wisdom. This you have done. I, my friend, will now move the rock."

At times, when we hear a word from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants, when actually what God wants is just simple obedience and faith in Him. By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains, but know that it is still God who moves the mountains.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes... Romans 1:16
