My mentor still gave A LOT of comments (which i don't really mind, cos it helps me to improve) but she alomost marked me down due to the classroom management thing. And frankly speaking, i think my classroom management is really bad. siGH!!!! oh well, now one down, one more to go (for this term) and another 2 more to go (for NEXT term). To a certain someone: Don't be disheartened, don't even think of giving up. Just take all of it as a learning experience! look on the bright side, u passed too!!
yeah.. so far so good. everything is great! I really should be rejoicing now shouldn't I? *thinks* and *nods* yepp.

argh!!! my annoying neighbour is BLASTING his karaoke!! as usual!! he really BLASTS it so LOUD loh. Thanks for being considerate. NOT. how am i supposed to concentrate?! thats y studying at home has its numerouos disadvantages. Not only does it have high noise levels at UNPREDICTABLE times of the day, there's always the television and computer to distract me from completing my work. Ok, the latter i can control. its all about discipline and setting my priorities straight. But all the BLASTING?? nopes! *shakes head* i should just go over to tell him to lower the volume!! argh!
okay, other than that, my work seems to be making smooth progress.. oH! my attachment assesment is tmr!! i had better pass this time round man.. *thinks* yeah, leave everything to God. *nods*

what an amazing week!! full of the incredible UPS and the little downs.. yeah man!! leave everything to God!! =) i still can't believe the stuffs that has happened, but yeah, thank God for always being there. its great that i am finally able to go for the mission trip! And now all i have to get through are my project deadlines, endless assignments,(challenging ones too i might add) and not to mention the remaining couple of tests and written papers i have to sit before it's "finally over" for my first sem. but yeah, nothing is impossible. well, come to think of it, studying seems like an easy job compared to what other teenagers our age are facing around the world. Famine, war, poverty..... and the list goes on. hmm, shouldn't we be thankful that we have a proper education?? haha talking is easy, yeah, just a thought.
so! when u are sick of studying, think. would u rather be starving, be without a home or sth.. or would u rather study? haha k this is like a bit irrelevant already.
so humans out there!! study!! you are not alone!! everyone has to go through the stressful studying periods.. and don't think it will end after each year. it gets worse. haha ok i'm not exactly helping here am i? hiak hiak...

yep. i totally screwed up the art assessment today.

like "hello geri?!?" how can u even fail it?! its so easy!!
sigh, so much for the effort put in. i have to admit, i was feeling rather useless..
i think there has been too many good things happening to me, so this failure thing is something to balance it out. hAHA. BIG joke. wad nonsense, geri, u trying to console yourself?!?! well, i almost passed, if that is something to be glad about..
On the otherhand, at least i'm given another chance, which is already something to be thankful for. Furthermore, its NOT the end of the world.. God is not gonna like judge us on our grades in school right.. besides, we have to be "positive in the face of trials!" and may this be a learning experience for me... to improve and become better.. be it being a teacher or character wise..

k the great day was referring to sunday..haha. but tdy's not too bad too.. brief update on sunday:
i finally went to sunday sch. not too bad! =) then we learned sign language on "WE ARE FAMILY" song.. had lunch b4 going to chris's place to study.. supposed to go cycling, but due to the weather, i din go in the end. Can't say i did much work.. there was simply no MOOD to study.. plus rainy weather just makes u wanna sleep. haha i only read through one set of pathetic notes.. but oh well. i'll read the rest during this week..
Lesson implementation was good! haha at least no children fell asleep. haha! oh know wad?! my neighbour saw me.. n we were like chatting (in chinese) for convenience, i'll type in english..
her: wah! u fat already arh?
me:err... haha
her: ur cheeks so fat!
me:(laughing) orh.. ( now i really feel lyk a hamster loh!)
her: ur throat got problem ar?
me: err, sort of la..
her: do u have that condition that causes u to make noise when u breathe?

i just hate last minute plans. SIGH. oh well... everything happens for a reason right.. yeah.

on the brighter side, tmr is sunday! yay!!!! i find myself constantly looking forward to sundays.. and saturdays for that matter. Not only cos there's no school, but there's church!! wuahahaha
and my holidays are here! yay. i can study all i want. haha like real. i'll do my fair share of studying, but of course i'll play hard too! though my work list is twice as long as my fun list. nvm!! =) prob cycle in the evening with lauying n eileen. hope we can play basketball too! my free ball in collecting dusts man. heh heh. i DO hope i can remember how to cycle! i know, once u learn how to ride, u can't forget.. but i dun ride it well. haha quit laughing already will you!!

a pinkie day
first of all, before i start, just wanna say to my bestie:

well, today was a fine fine day. Test cannot ruin it! =) so happy!! the tests were OKAY.. so its over, don't wanna think abt it!!
haha. u know what??! jas n i seem to wear the same colours or pattern everytime!! most of the time, anyway. and we never planned it! haha telepathy..

haha. i still feel so ARGH!!! so wasted, now it totally ruin the show!! *wails* like, thanks a lot man!!! k i know i a bit over drama la, but of ALL people, chris telling the ending makes it worst!!!
anyway, went to do a make-up for my attachment, and nearly got another headache!! man, i think my level of noise tolerance have to increase, if not i'll "die" soonr or later...
was so so sleepy after that!! my eye lids were like closing.. and i was contemplating going home to sleep instead of going to bedok lib. to study.. haha. but after stepping out of the train and feeling the heat, i decded that no way was i going to sleep n study under those horrifying conditions! its not made for humans!! haha kk i very DRAMA tdy, bear with me please.. so went to lib in the end.. and i tell u, 987 kept playing the "catwoman" ad, and it made me think of chris and his stupid cat fight joke (at yana's bbq LONG ago) and i started to laugh n laugh!!!! non-stop!! and there was this guy n girl next to me who kept looking at each other, then at me, then smiling and laughing..AT ME! haha fine.. maybe they thought i was laughing due to the radio or sth. either that or they thought i was really bonkers. who cares.. haha. Then!! thinking of tt reminded me of chris and his "scary movie 2" joke.. (bev, the graduation song one) and i started laughing all over again! this time the girl took her notes to cover her face. i did the same. i was SHAKING loh from all the laughing. i was trying to think of sad serious things, but failed terrible. Tried taking a deep breath but it made me laugh harder. everytime i take a DEEP DEEP breath i will laugh even before i finish inhaling. HAHAHAHHAHA.. total madness. i FINALLY calmed down.. for the rest of the study session. to think i was all alone..=)

I'm back!!! been kinda busy during the 3 days break.. like the time i spent at home are like so little! Sunday was fun and enjoyable! i initially wanted to go home after service, but then decided to join the ZGMights to East Coast to break the balloon record thingy. haha so funny.. Then went to Vic's place to catch the last episode of "double hapiness".. and stayed there like forever.. HAHAHA..
k went to NDP tdy.. it was really nice! but the journey home was super long.. spent an hour plus jus making our way to the rain statioN!! and i think i'll stop here..

i Got a Dog!!
haha, NOT.
Friday was fun!! NP had a fun fair! and i was trying to use up my $5 coupon wisely. Bought a really bright coloured dress! =) The food stalls weren't that fantastic, so headed over to the games stall. In the end, Eileen managed to get tickets and she went to sit this ride with me. And i was so scared i'll FLY off that i gripped the bars so tightly! haha my arms are aching from all the swinging and bumping!! Eileen has bruises too! But all in all, it was really fun! And that ride itself was $5. haha!
Eileen still had another set of tickets, so we ended up playing some "throw the ball into the cup" game. Won the dog, and she gave it to me.. haha Thank you!! =) Jas was asking me to name it and it so happened that i sneezed at that moment. hence, her name. Ah-choo!! a lil' lame, haha.
And I'm finally back frm Eileen's place. haha spent like almost two days there, just doing our project. Slept at 3! And Jas n beeling came quite late.. ha they were supposed to come at 10:00 initially, then it slowly got pushed back hour by hour, till thy finally came at 13:30. Seriously, we took SO LONG to write a 4 page report!! my brain switched off somewhere during the early evening. well, on a lighter note, its just 15%!! well at least its 95% done,just left with our referencing. =) WHEW!!

my left eye was soo irritated to tday, cos of the lens. And i was tearing in the train, and pple thought i was crying. This is the second time it happened this week kay!! anyway, i was rolling my eye trying to sooth my eye when the lens popped out. and i was like, oh NO!!!!!!! so i held onto it til clementi. Met irliyana(how do u sp her name?!) who told me to use water first, in case the lens hardens. so i did. ( I KNOW U CANT USE WATER) but no choice, put in first..but it was so so uncomfortable!! less than a min later, i took it out.. ran to the CO-OP hoping the uncle at the specs shop could lend me their solution. it was Not opened yet!! i was like, AHH!!!! then lau ying went like, "i have wad...." haha fine, Thanks girl! u saved my lens!!

luv it
i just lurve my fisherman pants!! (even if some thought it was weird)
went down to SP to meet bev for lunch, and i couldn't find the place! surprise surprise... haha. but yeah, finally reached the destination.. tired and relieved. Had a quick lunch and bev brought me to the opto. lab where jov n pamela n others were doing some thing. haha it was really cool man! all those equipment... suddenly i wish i was studying optometry too..
bev and i were talking.. and i think bev's jelly is good! mine on the other hand is not so yummy.. right bev???
rushing projects like MAD now. well, not really MAD, but can feel the pressure & hear the clock ticking. *tick tock* *tick tock* (see??!?!!!)
Read finish "a Child called it" and i tell you, i feel so mad just reading the book. its about this unstable mother who abused her son. And the things she did to him are so unbelievable! E.g She made him eat his baby brother's faeces, eat back his own vomit, starved him till he had to steal food, made him throw up everyday to make sure he wasn't getting food in school.. that kind of thing!! the horrors! its a true story btw, and it was the third worst case of child abuse in the whole state of California.. I was like so angry at the mother, for doing this to her own flesh and blood. angry at the dad, for NOT doing anything to help the son! so useless!!! argh!!! and just plain angry. yeah, at a book. don't roll your eyes.. n i was almost tearing when i realized i didn't have tissues with me, and in case the pple around me thought i was mad. Laughing by myself is bad enough kay. ha.

some pple are so selfish!!! heard abt the incident in Paraguay where the owner, in the event of a fire, did not want his customers to get out cos they have not paid for their purhases. So he asked his staff to lock the doors.. trapping the people and killing them. how completely idiotic!! like, who in the world would care about not paying??!! their lives mean more to them!! and because of YOU, many have lost their lives. i hope you're happy! argh!!!

Tired Tired Tired
Today=tired+headache+red eyes
Imagine hearing chilldren scream and scream and run all around you, crying here and there. If you don't get a headache, well, you're good.
*shudders* the screaming was like so painful to the ears! ouch. to make matters worse, i was so famished, i wanted to eat up the kids lunch kay. haha. of course i didn't.
so after the long wait, i deided to treat myself to a satisfying lunch at MOS. Was like some zombie the whole day.. reached school, and heard from my fren's class that there was no need to implement any Math lesson after all!! ARGH!!! i implemented it TODAY!! *rolls eyes* the lecturer told us "so early" right.. but we can implement it if we can.. so thankfully the lesson took really quick too. so its not that bad..
Can't remember what the lecturers were about. decided to amuse myself with my camera. Took this during FP, with Ulfah.
Then went for Maths class, and i decided to have fun with the manipulatives.

dance performance in athel's church
the dance performance was nice.. i finally got to see the YWAM's version of "Now's the time" Athel's choreography was nice too!! her dance is so full of grace..=)
went to IKEA for dinner!! i jus lurve their meatballs. yummilicious...mmm Mmm!!
haha.. i really lurve the weekends man.. not looking forward to mondays at all.. really dislike F.P now.. blahz.
i finally got the TV to wokr in my room! so yippeee.. i have a tv in my room!!! so happy..
