Jas & i were in the library during our super long 3 hour break. So we were sitting on those couches. I was on the floor lah. Then this guy came n plonked himself so HARD onto the chair, it made some loud noise! Then after a while, he was like, "qing wen xian zai she me shi zian?" (k i cant recall the EXACT words, but same meaning lah) and his articulation was seriously BAD with a capital B. he was like mumbling.. i could hear him lah. so i'll say the conversation here.

jas: "har?"
guy: "erm, what's the time now?"

And there was this PIG who went around the library taking photos of girls using his camera phone. such a sickening pervert!! doesn't he disgusts you?! Jas n i kept laughing at him.. stupid fat pig! actually, calling him a pig would be insulting pigs. cos pigs r cute and this guy certaintly wasn't cute. like EWW. n i think he was trying to take jas's pic.. haha we covered our faces like super OBVIOUS on purpose.. then decided to get out of the library.. went for service, then headed to joy's hse to study. I spent AGES on one pathetic accounting question, and STILL couldn't balance it! argh. but thanks to Vic who helped me lots, and cy too. =)

Stoning is BAD.. i was dreaming in the bus on the way home and i MISSED my stop by THREE bus-stops!! *bangs head* BLUR!!!! sheesh, so i crossed and took the next bus back..

Dazed

didn't take an MC, rather, the doctor didnt gimme one.. so went to school today. NOT that i'm complaining.

Was like, 20 minutes late!! sheesh, and i realized i totally forgot to do my accounting tutorial when i left the house! haha managed to complete it in the train.. after accounting, lessons were practically a blur. i literally dazed throughout the rest of the day! Wanted to go home after lunch, but decided i would mark my attendence before leaving. haha, my not-so-brilliant plan failed me (due to unforeseen circumstances) and i had to stay back for a much longer time! Cos the teacher decided not to mark my class's attendence til like our break. So by the time i had my break, i made-up my mind to sit through the whole lecture. Which by the way, i was so not paying attention to. i sat right at the back (first time) and listened to my radio. [bad geri] The lecture was so boring!! everyone thinks so too, sigh!

yah, so the medication was starting to kick in, and i was so drowsy that i closed my eyes for certain brief moments.. it was good.. :) [to the young children out there, pls don't learn from me] haha. and so i walked out of the lecture without learning anything, and my knowledge of how to design learning environments not any higher too. i SHALL attempt to read my textbook.

i have lots of work to complete!! By hook or by crook, i MUST get it done by this weekend.

it amazes me how i'm able to use tissues at such an alarming rate. *gosh* I specially brought three packets with me today..

sigh, i'm so relieved the day is over, and i can just rest. free my mind from all the thinking.. Met my mum at the 85 market for dinner. So i ordered some mixed vegetable rice. Was on my second spoon when some disgusting little beetle landed on my food! like eww. my mum reached out to squish the bug, in MY FOOD!!! like, not in my FOOD!!!! so i picked up the dead creature, and flicked it away. Of course i didn't throw the whole plate of food away, i just remover that portion that was contaminated. Uggh. And the chicken was so NOT chicken. hello!? i ordered chicken, NOT bones!! And the bones were like so sharp it almost cut me!! i think that particular chicken was like, starved or something. No meat at ALL!

went to the doctor, and she was doing all the usual check-up. And i suddenly felt the urge to laugh. And guess what? i did. ok, i'm mad. I think the virus is affected my sanity. thankfully, the tablets were tiny. whew. can't imagine the agony i have to go through if the tablets are like humongous.

and my mum was like, "u got bf already right?!"

Like, NO! Mad arh?! then she added," then y u everyday wear so nice? not show bf show who?!"

School was like, SIGH today. Went all the way to tear and paste paper. sigh. headed to Alameen(however u spell it) to have dinner with Jas & Vince before deciding to take 66 home. BIG mistake. The ride seemed endless!!  it was such a long long, and did i say long? journey home, and i was freezing! was blowing my nose the whole time, and on the verge of running out of tissues. it was freezing cold!! and of all the days, i decided to take out my jacket out of my bag. wonderful, isn't it? how toot can u get geri? sigh.

Jas bought -hello panda- biscuits and it was LAO HONG. so we went bak to change, ask for a new one. Turns out, the new one was also lao hong. So we asked to change for yet another one. Sarah was like, "Quan bu dou lao hong de" . so in the end, jas got another flavour..haha i was too busy laughing. *no surprise* so that was interesting...
 
i dun wanna go sch for a pathetic hour! and tt pathetic hour doing senseless things totally unrealated to that module, and then go home. -____-
 
too bad i can't skip. sigh. hey i'm a good girl ok.
 
and my lecturer's slides are so boring!! All black and white, with Times New Roman font! EEE!!! ugly font.. haha. i hate times new roman.... what the slides need are colour!!! there's no pictures, jus endless slides with endless amount of words!! argH!!! and its the two most important and heavy subjects too! ok, i'll shuduuppp.

Maahi Ve

Surprisingly, i had no monday blues today! and i reached my centre 15 minutes early. So a great way to start of the day. Thankfully, my headache had cleared by then.
 
This is way cool. The children had combined music lessons. And guess what?! They were watching the "Kal Ho Naa Ho"-Maahi Ve music video and they were singing and dancing to it!! so adorable man!! turns out the K2's are preparing for their end-yr concert. haha! they are following some parts of the video.. so CUTE!!!
 
ok. the rest of the day was normal..
 
turns out i have to change a lot of my lesson plans.. not detailed enough.. hmm.

Real early sunday morning

woke up really early today, to head down to yoke sam's church to observe Rachel. i still think the idea is weird. But too bad they are only free on sundays and also because Eileen has to leave for Aus this fri..
so we were supposed to meet at chua chu kang at 830, but Ys only came at 9. so we took some shuttle bus.. her two daughters were really lovely! so sweet! and Rachel has no stranger anxiety at all!! kept making noises and smiling!! k, thats no her, obviously. haha but i jus wanted a baby picture..

Then!! on the bus, we realize something. All the folksin the bus spoke CHINESE!!!! even the children!! Eil n me were like, are we going for the chinese service?? turns out, we were! oh no!! my chinese is bad.. how am i going to understand?!

so it wasn't that bad. i could read the words to the songs, and undertood a bit of he sermont. oh!! they are having the 40 Days of Purpose too! haha..

went home and slept til 5. i was THAT tired. either that or i'm jus a pig.

lazed around at home b4 going to the library to check out some art books. not really helpful, i think i shall not rely on them. So headed to church where i managed to complet one lesson plan. doing all the other stuff tmr. No mood today.

River of Stars

what a great day!! Firstly, its because its a friday! yay! and secondly, i had fun during lecture(playing) and i got my cd at long last!!
 
I've been wanting to get "River of Stars" (by 2002)ever since i heard it during Belinda's lecture last year! It a really fantastic new age album! its heavenly and Enya-like, simply melodious and music to the soul!! perfect for relaxation.. 
 
so anyway, i went to HMV to check it out and guess what?! It costs $29.90! almost thirty bucks! i was expecting something much cheaper. So i was disappointed, and did not get the cd till today. There was this Bazaar going on at school, and Eileen told me they were selling the album. so i went to check it out. Asked the price, and TA-DA!! it was selling at $19.70!! i got it immeadiately. And after that, Athel came and bought Pachelbel! its yet another fantastic new age album tt Belinda played last semester! (furthermore, this album is hard to find already) i love that Canon in D piece! probably use it during my wedding or something.. so we agreed to lend each other our newly "prized collection". soon after, more friends from ECH came and saw the "River of Stars" and all of them were going "ooH" and"ahh". No kidding. haha... but none of them bought it.
 
Lecture was quit boring. Correction, very boring! Thankfully the morning tutorials were not too bad. Financial Management is getting interesting! so during our lecture breaks, i taught them the "current" game, and "007 bang!" game. tricia had laughing fits! but it was really fuN!! so we amused ourselves til the break was over. :)
 
Have to head down to the library tomorrow.. and start on my work ASAP!!

Wad a relaxed day!! finally went to watch -Mean Girls!

the movie was not too bad, but some parts were really terrible! The things humans can do.. though some parts were really hilarious! anyway, it was nice meeting SC,Tatia & Saphira again.. =)



Well, Tatia had to leave after the ovie to meet her friends, and Sapphira left after we ate some desserts. So had dinner with SC. oh yarh, saw some sec sch pple like Ken & Faizal n they couldn't recognize me!! i felt dumb waving at them and they weren't waving back, giving me the "who are you?" look, til like almost a full 10 seconds later. or maybe lesser than tt. HAH!

and i finally watched "a walk to rememebr" yest, practically cried my eyes out. haha, k stop laughing, or rolling your eyes...

today was our presentation. can't say it went very well. individually, it was better, however, as a group, there were many "bad" points.. all the organization and stuff. sigH. guess we have to buck up on the written paper.

crapped all the way home. Was supposed to go jogging, but it was raining. oh well, friday then! haha remind me to share those lame jokes man. i really have to write them down!! f not i forget them easily.. haha.

Another case of Monday Blues

i have a a serious case of monday blues today man..

dragged myself out of bed with my mind still filled with fish dreams. yes, i dreamt of FISHES. too much fish exposure the day before if u ask me.. haha!

i lost my WAY. y do i keep losing my way?! *bangs head* so i took 7 and cleverly missed Singapore Badminton Association and took ALL the way to North Bridge Road. Frantically took a cab, which cost me $6.30! somehow i felt cheated, like the guy took a longer route or something. i reached there 15 mintues late. i was like dreading meeting my mentor. after seeing her, i dread being stuck with her for the whole year. she is so unfriendly.. like so unhappy that we are coming. mind u, my friend came early n she greeted her in the same fierce unfriendly way. lets hope it gets better. too early to say anything now. *optimistic*

So she gave us some talk and STRESSED abt punctuality. like, i KNOW i was late. i did apologize right. well at least she did gave the first day an EXCEPTION. so not too bad. she showed us around the centre, n she was telling us theirs is the ONLY NTUC Childcare in a bungalow. And that we were very fortunate. fortunate??! erm, ok.. but the palce was big and spacious. Then helped the teachers with meal and bath times.. before leaving.

Met the Alphas and some others for project discussion and lunch.. my brain was dead already, just functioning on auto roamimg mode... couldn't wait to get home and rest..

I wanna join StudioWu's Dance!!! k anyway, my silly tv is spoilt! wanted to watch CentreStage and A Walk to remember, BUT i cant watch vcd's without the sound interferring! argh. watching shows on labtops ain't cool k.. i shan't complain anymore...

Fun Faire

What a tiring day!! my brain is abou to shut down from lack of sleep, my legs are aching from a pathetic 1.6km jog and i have an abrasion from dunno where..

BUT! it was sill a great day nevertheless.

went to the 9am service before going up to the place where the faire was held. At first, i had nth to do, so i went to check out the other stalls. i liked the IQ game stall which was right next to the vanity stall. haha. so in the end, i managed to occupy myself by collecting the coupons. Then i was the time-keeper after that. haha did a lot of standing...

oh oh! then went down to the "inflatables" part. (u know, the typical floats u see at fun fairs) Denice and i had our turn at this game, when the float is divided into lanes, and u wear this vest, which is attached to a rope. so u charge......!!!! and then the rope will jerk u backwards.. haha. So some of them were pulling me.. man! they are so strong! haha.. but it was fun, a little tiring, from all the laughing, and "flying". :)

Went off around 530 to meet Eileen before meeting Audrey & Margie for dinner at Nooch. dinner was good, i think they changed the menu. my food took AGES to come. the last of the last.. i was so hungry!! ate some of Eileen's udon and tempura. haha she had a heavy lunch. i din had lunch, so u can guess y was i so starved. hehe.

but it was great meeting them. foound out tt so MANY teachers left Learning Vision already!! sigh. guess their turn over rate IS high.. haha the kids r fine too. My darling Ryan is progressing so welll!! haha. i miss them..

shall sleep soon. have to wake up early n find my center tmr. *crosses fingers*

Then it was so funny! as usual. :) finally i get to blog about today.. was so busy doing the "grp chat". hmm, haha the only thing i can remember at this time is that all 10 of us squeezed into Jerry's car. Then when we arrived at the coffeshop, a grp of aunties were counting the number of pple in the car! haha.. oh yah. musical chairs was fun.. haven't played that in ages.. since pri sch? haha..

have to wake up early tmr.. going to have the fun-fair!! and then dinner with the Learning Vision pple. "pple". okie.

i went jogging today!! ran 4 rounds around the track.. ^^
I am so so UNFIT!!!! already!! gosh, i used to be able to run 3 rounds before feeling tired, today? ran one round and felt like stopping. i am so weak!! i need to train more. haha. so we are probably going to run every friday or sth. We = Eileen, Athel, Sarah & me. i had to FORCE myself to complete the rounds. Really, i have been too kind to my body, giving in to its cravings and sinful indulgence like chocolates and snacks and late night supper. HAHA. ok that sounds way too extreme...

i miss Magnum!!!! lots!! :(

Nothing much happened lately. however, everything seems to be going fine. :)

although i'm sort of nervous going to the new centre, wonder how my mentor will be like, wonder how the center will be like, the kids and teachers... cos its gonna be so different from bedok lutheran church kindergarten.. i can FEEL it already.

projects are starting to pile up... they do it slowly so u don't really notice till its too late. haha. k, that's kinda extreme. but tues's my presentation. have to get my finiancial tutorial done later, do my three art lesson plans(which i have no idead what to do yet!), read on my productivity & quality notes.. (am i boring you??)

The movie was super hilarious i tell u. bev and i kept laughing, and laughing.. i think we were the only ones who were so throughly amused. But some parts were really cheesy, and corny.. we couldn't HELP but laugh. Then when the lights came on, bev and i started to cover our faces. all i knew was that when i came out of the cinema, i started feeling a bit giddy. too much laughing really gives u nightmares! i jus woke up and i had weird dreams and i even msg a friend sth weird. WEIRD!!!!

so people, don't laugh so much. so anyway,was tellin the both of them lame jokes,"amusing" them on the journey home. haha.

Btw, spiderman 2 is a MUST watch. its better than the first one. in my opinion..

Monday blues

argh...

was not feelin all that fantastic today. just felt like keeping quite and not speaking unless it was absolutely necessary. Even my friends noticed. i jus wanted the day to end ASAP and get home. But once school ended, it got a teeny weeny bit better.

oh! my centre is at Guillemard Crescent. Anyone have ANY idea where in the world it is?? Around Kallang??

Went to Queesnway to collect our books, then jas and i went to Ikea to have dinner. i chose pasta over meatballs. haha. but i wanna eat meatballs! k, met Vincent too. While waiting for him, jas and i sat on those big comfy couches at Ikea, lazing away, and talking about the domineering partner in a relationship.

so went home after that. wad an interesting day huh. *rolls eyes*

can't wait for tmr. Spiderman 2!!

Celebration Sunday

*yay* today was great!! met early in church. They were supposedly planning for the fun fair.. but i arrived late.. haha had my nails done by wenshan.. all maroon. Its for the fair next week too! so i was being their nail "model". i just realized i skipped lunch, but thanks to jon who gave me his soggy fries. haha.

blah! i gave bev, jo and my mum wrong directions!! went to peoples bible church at 4 to do those make-up stuff.. and thanks to wenshan who helped me with the makeup and esther who did my hair.. but it was really painful!! haha kept yelling. anyway, dance was super hilarious. first i kept laughing. Then some errors.. HAHA!! wen hao went to the wrong place, and i was so busy laughing that i forgot my steps!! *blur* but it was still good..haha. so the service, worship and dinner was all good. :)

too bad i can't go to vic's place. hmm, i might watch with my mummy!

was watching "the hot chick" just now. so funnY!! i laughed so loud that my mum scolded me. -_-

oh well.

so dance was short, i was so nua man. then hanged around, then went for svc. haha so great!! timed passed real quick and it ended at 8!! woah! went for dinner which was super filling. but did a lot of laughing today, no surprise. haha. there i go again. erm, OK!

yay>! the weekend is finally here!! *cheers* well, guess what, i only have 2 examination modules out of nine!! but, the most boring lecturers are the ones taking us for those TWO modules. oh well! but those dry modules weren't as dry as i thought them to be! they were rather interesting actually. plus, the lecturers are great! yay.

anyway, i had this dream last night. There was this bus on the clif, and in it were many students. below the cliff were many students too. And i was in a car with some people further down from the cliff. So i saw the bus over-turned and fell off the cliff, killing those below, and the bus rolled and rolled to where i was. then there was this family talking to us behind the car. they got killed and the bus rolled over our car, threatening to crush us. i was holding up my hands, hoping the weight of the bus wouldn't come down on me. it didn't! and then it ended.

but all the deaths... *shudders* i didn't see blood and gore though. but i just knew the pple died.

weird.

on a lighter note, Athel gave me another gift! some snake cube. another IQ puzzle. hahaa.

i know i've got lots to say. but i just can't remember them now. so until then, tata.
