break from all the work, break from all the assignments. Just gimme one day.
haha like real. even so, my mind cannot rest properly knowing i have so much due.Nevertheless, i am sooo thankful that i managed to get away for three days.

well, technically i am supposed to have my one week hols now. Lets just see how much of my hols do i actually spend resting vs the number of hours i spend working. hAa!

Suddenly i feel like i have SO MUCH to do. [Not that i didn't feel this way initially, but i find that i'm slowly losing the drive to work.] Find it quite overwhelming, really. And for today, i just can't bring myself to start on anything! Oh the HORROR of it all!!

All leads to one thing---> I miss my secondary school friends... Most of them are busy busy busy!! And i'm one of those guilty ones. Very guilty ones actually.

*stamps feet* know what?! i am so going to swim on friday. Been wanting to since, what-SEVEN weeks ago??

On a lighter note, i was allowed to drive onto the road today instead of around the carpark! =) Third lesson lined up on thurs!

Fine, thoughts r running wild.. i think i need to let my braincells take a holiday.

OOH! Had my first driving lesson today! *squeals* Uncle Haiteck brought me to the carpark at kallang and taught e the basics.. so i drove all around the carpark.. again and again.. hur. So FUN!! =) I'm learning manual (which makes it more fun) and at first i had some problem in driving straight. I still have a little problem with that..ahhahah. but anyway, there were these two humasn who were walking across the road SO SLOWLY!!! I was so afraid that i would hit them lah!! I wouldn't want to hit anyone on my first drive man.. i can't wait for my next lesson!!! *tralaaalaaaa*

The phonetics test was fairly manageable.. yeap.

Anyway, Sarah sent me these jokes.. some i've heard before but still found them hilarious. I can't imagine how will i react if the children i'm teaching says these to me..haha. Either laugh or cry.

Botanical Gardens

Had some allergic reaction (to dunno what) last night.. it "looked" quite bad so went to see the doc ata 1030. doctor told me i had hives. Got quite a shock considering that i always thought hives were the result of a severe allergy reaction. He kept asking me if i had difficulty breathing and fever...he even wanted to gimme a jab but i said normal medicine would do.. jab?! waste money, unless its really life-threatening.. so anyway, he was telling me that there is no specific cause and that it can just come and go...thankfully, everything went down by the time i woke up. Thanks to everyone and their prayers!

So since i was feelin and looking better, (no more redness) decided i was well enough to go to the Botanic Gardens!! But thought it was rather boring.. so basically just took in the scenery..enjoy nature.. and of course, PHOTOS!! How can we ever forget them?? hurhur. And Eileen and I were MAD today la..(actually we are mad almost every other day). Woke up at 530 and my mummy was so nice to offer to help me cook the sausages.. our group had potluck cos no lunch was provided... had quite a "feast". And i brought so much sausages i thought there would be a lot left. But everyone loved it! hurhur. yay! So it was all gone... Eileen brought a bunch of bannas laH! And we dipped it in peanut butter.. yummilicious!! (u should try it one day, if u haven already tried it-spread it over bread!! *licks lips*)

Almost scared...

I reached home and as usual, said a big HEELLLOOOO!!!!!!!

There was no response. No "hi" or any sound from my mother.

Puzzled, i went into her room. No one. Not a soul in sight. Went to the kitchen, darkness(lights were off). No one in sight. Went to the toilet. No one.

Ok, i started to panic. Her keys were still at home, and when i opened the door to enter, it was locked. So my mother could NOT have gone out. I called her handphone, and yep, heard it ring. Then my imagination started to run wild.(really wild) I thought maybe she had fainted somewhere(although my house is so small, that it is quite hard to faint without somebody noticing) i was like quite scared of finding her unconscious in the dark kitchen.. was about to turn on the kitchen lights when i saw my mum out of the corner of my eye, coming out, (sneaking out, rather) from my ROOM!!!

Her reaction? sneaky laughter.

AIYOHHHH!!!! (what in the world?! u might add)

I was like "scolding" her for giving me such a scare lah. All she could do was laugh. At me. yes, at my sillyness. i was telling her i was worried cause her keys and handphone were all in the house. Then she said why didn't i go into my room to check. (Fine i have to admit that my room was the last place i'd look)

Then she claimed she was hanging my clothes when she heard me come home, and CONVENIENTLY decided to hide in my room awaiting my "arrival". And she wanted to scare me lah!! I was telling her i even thought she had jumped out the window. (yes, madness i know, but i told u i was starting to panic!) And my mum responded by saying she's not mad. (OK OK only i am the mad one..hur)

sigh. Haha. Don't you just love my mother???

Driving here i come!!!!

Happening day i tell you..

First of all, Jasmine & I got BeeLing to buy for us some potatoe & ham bread from the canteen. I ate 3/4 of the bread before Jasmine mentioned that she thought the mashed potatoes in the bread tasted sour. And ONLY then did i taste the "sourness". (I'm quite bad at tasting this sort of thing la, unless its really obvious like spoilt milk or papaya) Anyway, we got Eileen to try and she immeadiately nodded her head, indicating that it was spoilt. FINE. jasmine was like saying that we were "going to die"...(haha sounds familiar??) Then after a while she said that her tummy feels weird. I was telling her its all in her head & in the mind and that it was psychological...(but usually potatoes don't turn bad so quickly. hmm)

During our break we went down to complain to the aunty. She got such a shock when we told her it the food went bad. Then she claimed that their bread is fresh and they don't keep the bread overnight.. then she told her manager(or whoever that was) and he said to give us another one in exchange.(Like, if its the same batch, it'll be sour too right?!) but yeah, she tried the bread and agreed it was sour. Then the uncle took another bread and tried it too, not to mention sniff it. Then he concluded that the sourness was due to vinegar. (Vinegar in bread?!?!) So he said the bread was not spoilt. Well okay, considering that i'm still alive and not suffering from food poisoning(at this point of time), i guess its not spoilt after all. haha.

Presentation was, in my opinion, super lame. haha but everything went quite alright.. =) Grabbed a sandwich before rushing down to my old childcare centre to borrow a big book for SBA. Talked to my previous mentor and said hi to the other teachers.. and then went in search for a suitable book. They have such a GREAT selection of books!!!! Hunted and hunted-couldn't make up my mind which book i wanted. Had to choose one eventually cos i was late in my appointment!! Talked a little more before deciding to take a cab down to Comfort Driving Center. Reached there slightly before 3.30(still early!!) and discovered that my uncle wasn't there. I called him so many times but to no avail. No one picked up the phone. i was like, WHAT!?!?!??! (what a waste of money on cab fare, bleahz) i figured that he probably forgot or something, so i went to get my PDL & my FTT alone.. and then, ta-daa!! when i finished my registration, my uncle called! turns out he had a student who was having her practical test.. and i do hope hope hope that my FTT test date dun clash with any exam paper!!!! (is it possible to change the date or time ah btw???)

so yeah, i booked a day with him to learn driving.. next week!!! YAY!!!! can hardly wait!! *squeals*

Back to "school"

well, sort of. In this case it's more of a "back to the childcare center"...

AHHH i'm so touched. The children actually remember me!! Not that i was expecting them to forget, but they still remembered my name!! So sweet!! Then they were asking me why i haven't gone back for such a long time...hurhur. But nevertheless, i was happy to see them too.

Decided to take back my original class, makes things slightly easier for everyone. There were a few new "additions" and a few withdrawals to the class and i tell you, the noise level they can create together is still as high!! classroom management geri..tsktsktsk.

Then they kids were asking me if i was married. (like, WHAT?!) haha cos i was wearing a ring, and they were saying that "only married ppeople wear rings." I was telling/explaining to them that anyone can wear a ring and yet NOT be married. Doubt i managed to convince them though..hMm-

My mentor was sooo nice to offer w.k & me lunch!! And not only for this week, but for the subsequent weeks as well! AHHHHHH.. i am a happy girl. So that means i won't have to STARVE til one plus...and i won't have to secretly gobble up the children's food when no one's looking. (oops! hahaha i'm KIDDING!!!!!!)

So its back to work for now!! Busy busy busy! Got webpage designing to do, presentations to prepare for, lessons to plan... l

Photo Taking Addiction

Cool! We have to create our own weblog for one mini assignment for IT!! haha, so Jasmine, Ulfah and I created an account at http://sensationalz.blogspot.com though I don't think there are any posts yet, and the assignment is only worth 3 marks. Yes, THREE marks. haha but oh well, easy to earn! We call ourselves- J.U.G. =)

The presentation in my opinion, wasn't very smooth. And halfway while presenting, i forgot what was i talking about!! How brilliant huh. The other groups presentation were very entertaining nevertheless.. Great job people!! =)

Met Bevie after class today and FINALLY passed her her long overdue Christmas gift. I'm glad she liked (loved?) it! =) Specially created just for you! And that girl!! Almost misplaced it when she left it at the flower section at Spotlight. I'll murder you on the spot if u really lost it ok.. =)

Guess what we had for dinner??? PASTAMANIA!!!!!!!! (pasta simply rawks!!!)

Bev had this pair of really cool magnetic earrings.. where the earrings are fastened onto your ear lobe by its "magnetic force". She let me try it on and for once i had "two piercings". (I've always wanted more than one piercing but my mother never allowed me to get more than one) And you know what? I lost it. I have no idea how it dropped!! So sorry girl!! I told her not to get the earrings for me anymore, cos obviously the earrings don't work for my ear. I think my skin is too thick that the magnetic force isn't strong enough to hold the earring in place. boohoohoo.

We went absolutely MAD taking pictures using her new Siemens camera phone. Took over 30 shots? haha.. we went to "Action City" at Plaza Singapura and took with the stuff toys. I can't believe myself sometimes... and we were laughing & laughing the entire time! haha. So amused.

Dinner wasn't very filling..(is it just me or it seems i'm always NOT full???) so we went to Gelare!! i just lurve their waffles! Took even more pictures..(gosh, i tell you, at the rate we took the pictures, you would think there was no tomorrow) And since she was meeting Ron, i decided to go meet my mum, who was also having her dinner at Plaza Singapura...

Pasta Heaven

I am such a pasta freak!!

Yesterday, I had spaghetti for lunch.(which btw, the portion was so pathetically miserable that i felt like i had not eaten anything, even after i "licked the platter clean".)

Yesterday, I had spaghetti for dinner.

Today, i had yesterday's leftover spaghetti for breakfast. (yes, spaghetti for breakfast-which again wasn't enough to fill my "bottomless pit-stomach")

Guess what i ate for lunch? Yup. Spaghetti.

And they were ALL the same type of spaghetti. Beef Bolognaise. Yummy Yum Yum. I can eat spaghetti every single day!! ( i think) And.... alright alright!! I shan't bore you with my pasta thoughts and ramblings...haha. I can even sing you the spaghetti song!! (but i shall save that for another day.. hurhur)

Well, the day went pretty fine.. am getting busier and busier with the minute! I can't wait for the last week of January..=) My Holi!!!

Today's exam/test (which ever) was fine. I didn't know it was a TWO HOUR paper!!! i thought it would be those quiz like thingy that last for, at the max, 15 minutes. boy was i wrong. Well at least i studied... and almost everyone completed the paper by the first hour!

Finished school and spent more than one hour on discussions..! my head is going to explode now from ALL that thinking.. blueurgh. And the presentation is tomorrow!! *crosses fingers* Well hope everything goes smoothly...

SOOOOO many people are falling sick!! haiyoh!!! tdy, Jas & Athel both looked so drained and pale.. sigh. Get well soon people!!

PhotoShop Fever

Haha we are learning Photoshop!!! I'm esctatic!!! (ok fine, i know i am lagging)
So going to ask Yok Sum to install the programme for me..muahahahahaha...!!!

Sheesh, i got SO SO SO many things to do and i'm busy busy busy!! And this marks the start of my sleepless nights... but in a way, i'm kinda of enjoying the stress. (i'm mad-i keep contradicting myself)

I am so happy!!! Finally called Uncle HaiTeck last night and he said he could teach me driving!! So i am going down to Comfort Driving Centre next week to get my PDL..(which i should have gone to apply for AGES ago) and then i can start!!! woohoohooo!!!! And he's offering to charge me at about 25 buckaroos per 90 minutes.. =) okie, now the only thing is i hope i can understand him.. cos he speaks more chinese and cantonese than english.. hohoho!

Bevie and Ai-ling is joining Amore!!! Ahhh!!! I wanna join too!!! Hmm but its not like i have a lot of time to spare to go Amore.. oh well.

Hair-Dos

Today marks the last time i'll have my mondays mornings free before my attachment officially starts next week. Oh the horror of it all!!

But anyway, went over to Rusty's place for project (taking photos)purposes in the morning.. and due to me having to play the part of a school girl, i had to tie my hair in two ponytails. by the time i removed the rubberbands, my hair was like a complete disaster.. it stuck out EVERYWHERE!!! No way was i going to go to school looking like i got electrocuted. so Lauying was using wax to tame my frizzy hair, and since we still had ample time left, Rusty helped me to straighten it. Now my hair is oh-so-smooth and soft.
haha.. oh i am so vainnnnnn..(i can't stand myself sometimes)

Well, hope everyone(minus the poly pple) had a great first day of school!!

Welcome 2005

Happy New Year everybody!!!!

Well, new year's eve was spent, doing filming. Had a short 2 hour lecture in the morning, then we popped over to Jolene's place. We thought we could be done by 2, in the end, we only ended at 430! Was so tired and drained by then, probably due to insufficient rest the night before. But filming was nevertheless fun!! =) ok so its halfway done..somewhere near completion. (yeshh!!!)

Went home to rest before the watchnight service.. Not much time to rest too actually. haha.

Welcome 2005!!! Let's hope this will be a better, more improved year than the previous...
