hot weather

In weathers like this, with rising tempertures, (or so it seems) i am thankful that my hair is short.

I think the weather is going to leave a "so-called" permanent scowl on my face.

Swimming today was not even considered a swim. The pool was being cleaned! Of all the days! These things only happen to me okay. *grumbles* And they sure took a long time to get it done. Sally & I were feeling so hot that we decided to just laze around in the children's pool. At least it was way better than waiting under the shade. Finally when the cleaning seemed more or less done, we jumped in. I think I am so going with them on Monday to chill out at Jurong..

I feel super sleepy, but sleep is the last thing on my mind. Sleeping now in my room without any aircon and breeze is purely suicidal. I'll probably wake up with a splitting headache or I wouldn't even be willing to wake up, "drowsiness" caused by the heat.

Showers no longer help, cos the minute I leave the bathroom, all I have to do is just to walk 10 steps, and in less than five minutes I’ll start perspiring all over again.

So, Sentosa anyone? Heh heh.

driving rawks

Have you ever had that feeling that you were going to sneeze? That you felt the tickling sensation in your nostrils and know that a huge sneeze is coming up? As you take a gulp of air in, in anticipation for THAT sneeze, all ready to go “Ah-Choo!! & Excuse Me” but it NEVER came? But you still felt like sneezing??

Anyway. Driving was a blast! I finally had the grand opportunity to drive along the main road. In addition, I was also allowed to use gear 3! So now, my fastest speed has thus increased to 50km/h. So as I was happily cruising along the road, this silly Mercedes filtering OUT didn’t want to give way to me initially! Like get out!! I have the right of way! Despite sounding the horn he kept his speed and only braked at the last possible minute. And if I didn’t react in time, I think we would have collided.. or something close to that. *shakes head in disgust* what’s up with people driving BIG cars? Just because your car is big you think so highly of yourself?



Turned out into the main roads, and as we approached the red light, I was so excited! [Since it was my first time being there and all.] So I was all prepared to take off, occasionally glancing at the lights and checking the mirrors. I wanted everything to go smoothly. But Nooo! Upon seeing the green light, as i majestically prepared to "take-off", guess what Geri did?!



Right. She stalled the silly engine. *hands covers face in mock embarrassment* I wanted to dig a hole in the ground can. Its like, how can you still stall the engine at this point of time, after so many lessons? *shakes head* My, how I wanted to laugh. [h-a-h-a]



Thankfully it was only ONE mistake and I drove all the way back to Kallang train station happy and alive. I realized too that I have several problems during driving.

My left turn is better than my right. (isn’t the right turn supposed to be easier?!)
I can’t seem to drive within the lanes!
I take some time to get the car moving.


And as you sit there reading this, you are thinking, “How is it that her instructor lets her drive on the main road?” *shrugs*

Smallville starts way too early this season! What happened to it being on the 10pm or 11 pm slots?! Now it’s being pushed all the way to 8.30pm. And I have been missing (and going to miss even more) the episodes due to dance. Nooooo Fairrrrrrrr. Hmph.

What is this!?! Now they want to have not one, but TWO casinos?!?! Gahh.

Free to do what?

After spending almost SEVEN hours on the computer, I have decided that ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!

Not.

Every time I step into my small but comfy (at least in my opinion) room, I’d tell myself that it's high time I get boxes and files to store and file everything away, neatly. And, I walk into my room how many times a day? Countless. And my room looks the EXACT way I left it-Still in a huge mess. Materials from the previous semester are strewn on the floor, and books & un-filed notes scattered everywhere, covering my birch study table. Is it even birch? I can’t even remember the colour of my desktop. (ok, fine that was an exaggeration) Anyway, before I can go do the “dirty job”, I need to make a trip down to Popular to get a decent thick file to compile my entire semester’s worth of notes and handouts. Speaking of thick files, my shelf lacks space already.

I need to go shopping!! I mean, I want to go shopping! Seeing clothes online makes me so tempted to just buy them using a credit card. Then again, I DON’T have one to start with. Duh.

I wonder, how do people arrange the clothes in their wardrobe? I used to colour code them (and realized that I have got lots of black stuffs) but soon switched methods-classifying them according to their ‘styles’-namely, spaghetti tops, racer backs, Tees etc… or am I only the weird one who actually “classifies” her wardrobe and not chuck everything else inside at random?

Chocolate muffins are good and addictive. Agreed? Well actually, ALL muffins are addictive. And for the record, I have finished eating almost the entire box of muffins my mother bought. [Like anyone really cares]

Yay. i cannot wait for dance classes later in the evening. And its a DOUBLE lesson, with STREET JAZZ & HipHop! i hope i dun tire my body out or anything, condsidering exercise hasn't been in my "Top 10 Things to do List" for a LONG time.

Boy-oh-boy. How time flies. The weekends are here again. i have never been more glad.. ok i am just typing this for the sake of typing this. You can tell i am bored.. Alrighty, off to do something more productive.

haha i don't think so. (guess that's what happens when u open more than one blogging account)
Anyway. Life is pretty much alright i guess. Yeah right. I am in denial. But i guess many people have their own private problems to deal with.. When u are with people, u show your not so vulnerable self, smiling like everything is perfect. But is it really? Only when you are alone.. then the harsh reality hits you hard.

Am i even making sense? haha what a way to start of writing, when i haven't been writing here for a LOONNNGGG time.

Oh well, time really flies. Year 2 is behind me now, and that leaves us with only ONE more year to go! wow. How soon is that?! (Results will be out on the 21st btw) haha pretty soon you'll see your all your friends getting married and having children. ok. scratch that. that's WAYYY ahead. But well, i guess it's safe for me to say that my future is a blur right now. With a couple of possibilites.. who knows where will i end up? *ponders and wonders*

Ok, enough of all that. Watched "Son of the Mask" yesterday.. and boy was it such a brainless show. Why am i so relieved that i did not pay and to go the cinema for it? hur.

I have yet to watch "The Pacifier"! My Meego!
