Headed over to bevie's house to swim in the morning.. and considering the rainy weather we've had fot the past few days, this morning was surprisingly sunny!!!
i was so happie that the sun was out!! We were just talking and having fun.. perfect way to catch up and relax!! Except that Bev n Jolyn were supposed to be studying for their exams!! haha i feel quite bad going to her house to swim actually, but since her parents didn't seem to mind too.. =)

Reached home a little late (well not late for me but late for my mother.) was supposed to reach home earlier to help with the packing. oops. then i was like, "uh-oh!" Then she didn't look too happie... yeah.

K-Box

First of all,

Happy Birthday to Sally!!!

Went to KBox with the usual gang.. and we totally enjoyed ourselves! Though we each had to pay almost double of what we thought was the price. but oh well, non-stop singing from 2-7pm.. it was terrific!!

Basically sang the whole entire afternoon and early evening away..and i hope i can still sing properly tmr. haha.

Annoying blood suckers

argh!!! is it me or is there an increase in the number of mosquitoes in the house?! Where did they all come from?!

its super frustrating.. i keep using the repellent and they still don't die!! its like i'm unwilllingly feeding them.. !! Gosh, they cunningly sneak up to you and suck your blood without asking for permission and still dare to leave a horrid bump mark on the skin which itches and itches!! arhhh!!!

*DIE! MOSQUITOES DIE!!!!!* (muahahahahahh! *evil laugh*)

Well actually i heard that mosquitoes leave their saliva in you after stinging. It' to prevent the blood from clotting so that she can enjoy her feed, until she is full. ( ARGH!!! The nerve of HER!! and yes, its only the females that bite..tsk!! ) the protein (protein?!? like am i supposed to be grateful now?!?) from the saliva sort of triggers some reaction from our immune system, resulting in the swelling. So the body's immune system actually has to break down the "protein" before the swelling can go down. AND!!! not all people when bitten, will feel the itch.(those lucky few!!) It all depends if they are allergic to the mosquitoes' saliva.

gosh, i hope the mosquitoes are like "dengue fever negative".. like, don't bite me and leave me with an itchy swell AND dengue. oh please no..

*squints eyes, looking out for those bothersome creatures*

Batam was a Blast!!

i'm back from batam, aching and tired, but nevertheless, happy!

It was really quiet over there and we had great weather!! Though initially after lunch, when we wanted to go do the water sports, the skies were rather dark and we heard thunder!! Then i was thinking like, "ohh nooo!!!" Even the adults adviced us not to go, so in the end we went to check in into our rooms. However, due to some arrangement of the booking or transport and dinner, we realized we had the whole afternoon off..! with NOTHING to do! in the end, since it STILL wasn't raining, we went ahead with the water sports.

The parasailing was super expensive!! a whooping 25 buckaroos! (ok la, not THAT costly, but for parasailing, its not worth it) so in the end all 4 of us took the banana boat and kayaks!!! *grin*

the banana boat was not too bad. It was freezing cold even before we fell into the water. All the wind blowing and Sarah & Eileen claimed that their teeth were chattering! And the water was so much warmer..til we went onto the boat again, then it got more chilly. *brrr* but all in all it was great fun! BUT! They only wanted to overturn the banana boat once!! til eileen asked the unlce to overturn it again. The uncle was nice enough to do so..=) after that, we went to kayak. the water was surprisingly calm despite the signs of rain. Although it would be more fun with some waves, we still had fun. Since it was still early, we went swimming in the pool-borrowed a ball and played around, attempting to shoot it into the hoops provided..

Went for a full body massage.. and it was so ticklish that i kept laughing. (surprise surprise). had a headache after that.. think it was due to lack of food. was so HUNGRY!! we went to buy snacks and those dry food before going to have dinner. bought my MAGGI!!!!(indo mee rather) and ARNOTT's Tarlets!! i LURVE them.. its so gooD!!!! yummilicious.

----Sunday----

went to swim again in the morning before having breakfast. ooh then we had this friendly clown guy in the hotel hanpaint our hands for all 7 of us..(using face paints)..then he taught 4 of us some dance..(the adults went off on thiri own) which looked a lot like line dancing..=) he taught us three different ones.. and in turn we taught him our 5,6,7,8 dance!! haha so fun man.. all of us dancing at the lobby area,(for abt an hour??) with so many ppl looking.. went back into the rooms to take crazy shots before sleeping again..

all in all, it was really fun!! =)my mum had a good time too.. haha.

Fun at Jasmine's

At long last i went to Jas's place today. haha it was quite an "achievement" for me as knowing me, i'm quite lazy.. and her house is ALL the way at the OTHER end of Singapore!! So FARR!!!! haah but yeah, since i already gave her my word, and even postponed the day, i finally went down in the end. Well it was really enjoyable, we watched vcds, namely A Cinderella Story(like finally!! i know i'm super lagging here) and Save the Last Dance ( ok, this is even more lagging. the show was like, two plus years ago?) but anyway, i still prefer "Centrestage".. Then we also sang some songs. haha i was trying to figure out how to read the words and get the pitch right..*screech* well, actually, it wasn't THAT bad.. haha i lurve her room!! so cosy woosy.. makes me wanna go to IKEA again! that reminds me.. i wanna eat their yummilicious swedish meatballs!!

Turns out that i would have been able to go to Batam after all regardless if the briefing was on, since athel's parents paid everything in FULL..

Sally was asking me if i wanted to join them to go K-Box tomorrow.. but i can't make it, since i already told my dad i would be meeting him for lunch.. so oh well. i managed to sing a little today.. so nah.. another time yeah peeps? prolly when the rest are done with their exams.. if not i can't imagine the situation when chris sings..HAHAHA. like that time.. ok i'll stop suanning him. LOL. In the meantime, Sally can go do her impersonation of Fish Leong. (at least, i THINK its fish leong-haha no no, its fish dippers.)

Chop Chop

I finally had a haircut!!! Met Jasmine and had lunch before taking the shuttlebus from C K Tang...all the way to Great World City. Well i must say that i like my new haircut!! though i need to learn how to style it..and i hope it doesn't "PONG" up.. though it wasn't as short as i wanted it to be.. the hairstylist was telling me that if it was too short, it wouldn't look good due to my OH-SO-THICK-HAIR. And he was kind enough to give me a discount..head feels really light now!!

Then went over to Far East with her to cut HER hair.. basically it was a "cutting hair" day today.. hahaha.

My mum has to attend this briefing.. and i hope it doesn't clash with the Batam trip!! Cos if she's attending the briefing(she HAS to attend) it means she can't go to Batam. And if she can't go to Batam, it means I can't go either!!! aHhhh!!! no no no!!!! so yeah, pretty please don't clash with each other!!!! otherwise, Athel's daddy will do the bookings tomorrow! Yipee!! Can't wait!!! =)

Me being the havoc one. i think its just me okay cos i was going ALL OVER THE PLACE. Crashed into the lampost. sheesh. No i wasn't injured, in fact i was laughing hysterically. Then i had this basket attached infront, and it was DENTED. it was already dented when i got the bike, but i didn't remember it being THAT dented. Thankfully the lady didn't ask me to pay or something.

What a Gigantic Relief

CDEV paper today was, a disaster!! So many application questions came out, like- 12 ways to play with a rattle. what in the world!?!? My eyes literally grew bigger and bigger as i read each questions.. thankfully my heart rate didn't excelerate.. even crapping didn't help! but oh well, its over. i'm more interested in having fun now..

i have a huge appetite for FUN..

had a super filling lunch at NYDC!! so full that dinner was just prata. But all in all, it was a fantastic way and day to wrap up the semester!

*happy sigh*

Yipee...

yay!! One down, one more to go!!! hmm, the paper was, haha OOOKKKKKAAAYYYYYY lah. could do most of it. I think. Though the mark allocation was *gasp*!!! so much!! and what i studied was like only enough to cover like a third of the marks.. unless the teacher is very generous with the marks, i highly doubt that for a few lines i'll get like 11-12 marks. so i did what i always do. crap my way through.. hey i think it is a useful skill to have ok.. HAHA. Then there were the usual "since when we learnt that?!?!" questions.. i was like deciding & choosing which question to do..that is, which qusetion would i lose the least marks in..LOL. but oh well, its over. And for the first time, i actually sat through the entire 2 hours.. usually by the first hour, many would be done. Many people felt the same way apparently, cos not many people left the examination hall.. haha. yepp.. that's second year papers for you.

But i'm still happie!! cos my PQS group got an A+ for our project!! the CUTES rawk man!! Way to go guys!! (right auntie?? kekez) all the hard work paid off.. well, it always pays off doesn't it? *grinz*

Can't wait for tue too.. made an appointment with the hairstylist!!! can't wait to chop everything off...!!

ooh yay!! the papers are tomorrow!! like, FINALLY!! Though its in the afternoon.. i prefer it in the morning actually. i can't wait to get it over and done with. sheesh, i even wished it was today instead!! argh!! i can't wait to have fun. yep. Fun is all I have in my mind now.. i can't seem to find any more stuff to study for tomorrow's paper. And it seems i'm not the only one!! ALL the handouts and notes seem to be repeating itself.. and just reading and re-reading it again & again makes me so tired of it!! argh, so yeah so i'm here taking another break... since i'm so wide awake. Hopefully after this, i'll have some motivation to study again.. just a quick reading for all my notes and i'm done!! woo hoo!! I can't wait for sat!! it marks the end of my exams, and officially the end of the semester. And i'm so hyper now.. i feel like daincing!!!

Aahhhhh.

I finally have peace and quietness in my house- except for the usual tv sound-everything is good. Upon reaching home, or rather, before i even stepped into my house, i could already hear my neighbour BLASTING his karaoke set, and singing at TOP volume. probably level 10 or something. Like, are you hard of hearing or something?? its SO SO LOUD!!! and his house is barely 5 meters away! its so annoying! especially when u are trying to study! its doesnt help that the weather is also so freaking warm!! *Rawrr!* i was like, "patience!!" *inhales deeply* On the bright side, at least his singing is not bad. Wouldn't it be worse if he screeches his way through?? yup. [The brighter side] Haha i should probably go over to ask him if I can sing some songs too..bring some discs along. after all, if u can't beat them, JOIN them!! haha ok- don't smack me, i'm having weird ideas again..
